PVC-U reinforced pipe is another new type of PVC-U pipe produced by heating and extrusion of PVC resin, using a special mold and molding process. Its characteristic is to reduce the thickness of the pipe wall, while also improving the ability of the pipe to withstand external pressure loads. There are radial reinforcing ribs on the outer wall of the pipe, thereby improving the ring stiffness of the pipe. Under the same external pressure load capacity, this type of pipe can save about 30% of material compared to ordinary PVC-U solid wall pipes, and the impact strength is also improved. Due to its sturdy material, smooth inner wall, and lightweight product, it is widely used in developed Western countries, gradually replacing the concrete pipes used for urban municipal drainage and sewage discharge for a long time.
