Product Introduction
The floor heating raw material is a medium density polyethylene with very stable mechanical properties, which is formed by the catalytic copolymerization of ethylene and octene monomers through metallocene catalysis. Its unique ethylene main chain and octene short branch chain structure endow it with superior toughness, stress cracking resistance, low temperature impact resistance, outstanding long-term water pressure resistance, and octene thermal creep resistance of ethylene.
Features:
1. Flexibility: PE-RT pipes are relatively soft and have good flexibility, making them convenient and economical to lay. The produced pipes can be reduced in usage during construction by methods such as coiling and bending. Special tools are not required during construction, so the processing cost is relatively low.
2. Thermal conductivity: The pipes used for floor heating need to have good thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity of PE-RT is good, and its thermal conductivity is twice that of PP-R and PP-B pipes. Very suitable for floor heating.
3. Low temperature heat resistance and impact resistance: PE RT pipes have superior low temperature resistance. During winter construction, the pipes are not prone to cracking due to impact, increasing the flexibility of construction arrangements. Therefore, they can also be constructed at low temperatures in winter, and there is no need for preheating during bending. Under the working temperature of 70 degrees Celsius and pressure of 0.4MPa, it can be safely used for more than 50 years.
4. Environmental friendliness: PE-RT pipes do not add any toxic additives during the production process, can be recycled, do not pollute the environment, and have good chemical corrosion resistance, with a long service life. The inner wall is smooth, does not scale, does not breed bacteria, and can be safely applied in fields such as drinking water transportation.
5. Stability of processing performance: PE-RT is easy to process, and the performance of pipes is basically determined by the raw materials, resulting in relatively stable performance.
6. Good environmental adaptability, light weight, good flexibility, and can be supplied in coils
PE-RT can be connected using hot melt connection method, and if accidentally damaged, it can also be repaired using hot melt connection of pipe fittings. The underfloor heating raw material has a creep failure curve that meets product standards, and is currently the only variety of polyethylene that can be used for hot water pipes without cross-linking
