Product Introduction
The floor heating raw material is a medium density polyethylene with very stable mechanical properties, which is formed by the catalytic copolymerization of ethylene and octene monomers through metallocene catalysis. Its unique ethylene main chain and octene short branch chain structure endow it with superior toughness, stress cracking resistance, low temperature impact resistance, outstanding long-term water pressure resistance, and octene thermal creep resistance of ethylene.
The PE-RT raw material not only has a qualified creep rupture curve, but also has a moderate price for its pipes. Construction is relatively convenient and fast compared to other varieties, and the connection form is the most reliable form of standard mutual melting hot melt connection at present. The diameter of the pipe fittings is larger than the inner diameter of the same specification of pipes. In the system, there is no mechanical connection method for local reduction, so the fluid resistance of the system is relatively small.
With the development of plastic technology, indoor heating systems can provide various plastic pipes for different purposes. Due to the advantages of plastic pipes such as smooth inner walls, low heat medium flow resistance, acid and alkali resistance, long service life, and convenient installation. In recent years, PE-RT has been widely used in underfloor heating systems, and as a new generation of specialized heating pipes, it is gradually becoming the mainstream product in the underfloor heating market.
